As an educational vessel, the HMS Bounty operates a variety of programs for people of all ages. Our mission is to uphold the skills of square-rig sailing through the preservation of the ship achieved with youth education and sail training.
Sail Training on the Bounty
Trainees on Bounty work side-by-side with members of the crew to help set and strike the sails, man the helm and climbing in the rigging is a daily occurrence. Bounty is dedicated to teaching history and the lost maritime skills of square-rigged sailing. Underway, casual classes teach sail theory, celestial navigation, marlinespike seamanship, and maritime history.
Sailing adventures on board last from as little as a day to as long as a month or more. Along the way, guests are likely to pick up a few sea chantys, and learn the real story behind Captain Bligh and the world's most famous mutiny
Passages range from $150 to $250 per day.
- $150 - Crew hold.
- $200 - Single cabin on tween deck.
- $250 - Double cabin on tween deck.
- All fees are based on single occupancy.

There is no better platform than a full-rigged sailing ship for teaching leadership, discipline, responsibility and teamwork. The Bounty's corporate training programs specialize in using the experience of sailing to pass on those lessons to the business world.
Under sail, the Bounty operates as a finely tuned machine. But the crew must constantly be working together to keep her running. Like a business, the Bounty will never reach her destination without the skilled leadership and precision teamwork of the officers and crew.

Bounty is a summer to remember... an experience of a lifetime. It's a chance for teenagers to explore their world while discovering all they're capable of and having the time of their lives. The Bounty summer program is a 6-week program aboard the Bounty. It's the ultimate educational opportunity. This majestic vessel is dedicated to teaching the history surrounding the era of Tall Ships as well as the ancient maritime skills of square-rigged sailing.
The summer sailing program offers your child a one of a kind chance for him or her to learn about themselves by actively participating in activities that build character and confidence through: teamwork, personal responsibility, leadership, self-motivation, patience and perseverance. All campers work side by side with the Bounty's experienced captain and crew. Space is limited. Reservations are on a first-come first-served basis. Call for more information.

The objective of the Cadet program is to teach students wholesome values while rewarding them for their accomplishments. It is our belief that if we can instill good judgment, morals, and philosophies in our future leaders we will not only affect one student but we will have influenced an entire community, a whole country, or perhaps the universe. The return on this investment is immeasurable.
